LocumsOntario has one of the best filtering systems to allow you to find the Locum you were looking for. 

Simply use a combination of drop-down menus and check boxes to choose as many or as few parameters you wish.  You may filter the ads by specialty, location, date range, EMR system, and compensation type. You may search for ads in a particular community, LHIN or SubLHIN.  You may select only Underserviced Locums.  You can choose those that offer primary care obstetrics, nursing home work or hospital inpatient care.  Choose them all or choose just one!




Sometimes parameters set by a Doctor are negotiable.  Only interested in doing office clinics, but the advertisement states that you might have hospital work?  Contact the Doctor and let them know.  On the other hand, you might choose this Locum opportunity to re-visit your training and get comfortable again with inpatient care!

Send messages to as many Doctors as you like.

As a Locum Physician, buttons will appear in the Locum Ad after you click the Read More link.  You may indicate that you can do the entire Locum, or, if the Locum period is quite long, perhaps you can only do part.  Sometimes longer Locums can be divided between multiple Locum Physicians.  Don't be afraid to try.
